Exhibit Hall
This year, PPA’s Exhibit Hall
sold out weeks before the start of the 2009 Annual
Conference! With a full Exhibit Hall and much appreciation
for the exhibitors who participated in this year’s event,
PPA wanted to generate much excitement about the Exhibit
Hall and the vendors in attendance.
For the first time, PPA
implemented an exciting game of “Pharmacy Bingo” for those
who attended the Exhibit Hall during the PPA Annual
Conference. Each PPA member was given a bingo card as they
entered the Exhibit Hall. Their goal was to visit as many
exhibitors as possible in order to complete their bingo
card. Attendees had a chance to fill up their bingo cards on
Thursday Evening during the Reception in the Exhibit Hall
and Friday during the Lunch in the Exhibit Hall. Completed
bingo cards were returned to PPA staff members and entered
into a drawing for an Apple i-Pod touch with one year free
subscription to Lexicomp and other smaller prizes!
 
The winners were drawn and announced at PPA’s
Saturday Luncheon presentation. Mindy Kozminksi, PharmD,
Community Practice Resident at University of Pittsburgh took
home the grand prize! Other winners including Tamre Joyce,
Arden Shambaugh, and Terry Talbott received complimentary
conference registrations to the Mid Year and Annual
Conferences and a $25 Gift Card good toward PPA merchandise.
