Pharmacist Continuing Education Opportunities

Earn CE credit while learning more about the
Medicare Part D Drug Benefit!
 

Below is a listing of current CE offerings that PPA is aware of which can help pharmacists learn about the Medicare Drug benefit.  The listings are presented alphabetically by offering organization.  Some may be free, some free for members of that organization, and some have related costs.

From American Pharmacists Association (APhA)

Understanding Medicare Reform: What Pharmacists Need to Know is an ongoing CE series developed by APhA.   Each monograph offers 2 hour CE credit and is free for APhA members.  For non-members there is a $25 statement processing fee.  Each monograph may also simply be printed off and read at no charge.  Go to www.pharmacists.com to view.  

If after reading the monographs, you would prefer to take your CE tests online for instant credit, go to the Online CE Center on www.pharmacist.com/education.

From American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP)

ASCP has an archived video-teleconference call which can also be listened and viewed for CE credit.  Must be an ASCP member to receive credit.  Others can access and listen to the program without credit.
