7:30 PM - CE presentation "Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Review and Update 2018" - Theresa Talbott, RPh, A State Board of Pharmacy Member, Regional Director State Government Affairs CVS Health

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Describe the structure and purpose of the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy

2. Discuss the regulatory process in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

3. Discuss pending regulation changes



Terry Talbott, RPh, PA State Board of Pharmacy Member

A graduate of Duquesne University, Terry Talbott has been a community pharmacist for over 30 years. She has been employed by CVS Caremark since 1989. She has been a pharmacist and pharmacy supervisor in Northeast PA for CVS and joined the Government Affairs team in March, 2014. In this role, she is the CVS liaison to 4  states and monitors legislative and regulatory issues. Terry is a past PPA president and currently serves as the Secretary  of the PA State Board of Pharmacy. She is also a recipient of multiple awards, including the Wyeth Bowl of Hygeia.



Target Audience: All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

CE Credit: 1 hour (0.1 CEU)

Activity Type: Knowledge-based

Requirements to receive CE credit: Participants must be present for the entire program, sign the sign-in sheet, and complete an online evaluation survey within one week. PPA must have you CPE Monitor ID and birthday on file to issue credit.


Registration Fee:

There is no charge for PPA/LVPA members.  Please be sure you are logged in when you register.

There is a $20 fee for non-members.


If you are a PPA member not residing in Lehigh or Northampton Counties, you are considered a non-member for this event.


This event is for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Students and Associate members only.


Deadline to register is Tuesday, April 17.
