Target Audience: Pharmacists currently serving as preceptors or interested in becoming preceptors.
CE Credit: 1.5 Contact Hour (0.15 CEU)
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss challenges experienced when precepting students on rotation.
2. Employ strategies for assisting students with academic difficulty.
3. Develop a plan for the amotivated or otherwise challenging student by partnering with Schools/Colleges of Pharmacy.
4. Describe preceptor responsibilities under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
