Managing hyperglycemia in the hospital setting can be challenging and often times the practices employed by many hospitals are not deemed the safest. The American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) Foundation authored a paper titled, "Enhancing insulin-use safety in hospitals: Practical recommendations from an ASHP Foundation expert panel," in an effort to improve patient care and safety. This Lunch N' Learn Webinar will focus on identifying the current practices in the hospital setting, and how to implement the recommendations made by ASHP in an effort to improve patient safety and clinical efficacy.
