The Pennsylvania Pharmacist Care Network
Enhancing Your Role in Your Patients’ Care

There is a $200 billion problem in our health care system stemming from inappropriate medication use. It has been shown that pharmacists can help solve this problem and reduce the overall cost of care and improve the quality of care, so why are there not more sustainable opportunities for pharmacists to do so? Come learn about how PPA is working to create these opportunities with the advancement of the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Care Network (PPCN). The PPCN establishes contracts with payers in order for trained network pharmacists to be compensated for providing medication management services to their eligible patient members in collaboration with the patients’ other healthcare providers. We are putting all the pieces together, and the final piece is YOU! Learn about the role you can take in advancing pharmacy practice in your state through the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Care Network.
