ACPA is hosting it's Annual Business Meeting at Dave & Busters, featuring a 1.5 hour CE program presented by PPA CEO Patricia Epple. Members in attendance will also vote on proposed changes to ACPA Bylaws.

Continuing Education Program Details

Title: Pennsylvania Pharmacy Update 2015

Attendees will learn about current regulation changes and legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania. After this program, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians present will understand how they can be more involved and have an impact on important issues that affect pharmacy.

Target Audience: Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians interested in legislative and regulatory updates affecting those practicing in Pennsylvania
CE Credit: 1.5 Contact Hours (0.15 CEUs)

Program Objectives for Pharmacists: At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to...
1. Outline recent regulation changes and proposals under development and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania.
2. Identify current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania.
3. List ways that pharmacists can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates.
4. Discuss current initiatives and activities underway to advance the profession in Pennsylvania.

 

Program Objectives for Pharmacy Technicians: At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to...
1. Outline recent regulation changes and proposals under development and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania.
2. Identify current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania.
3. List ways that pharmacy technicians can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates.
4. Discuss current registration/licensure status for pharmacy technicians in Pennsylvania.
