Title: Updated Review of Target-Specific Oral Anticoagulants

   

This program compares and contrasts the role of target-specific oral anticoagulants (TSOAs) in stroke prevention for non-valvular Atrial Fibrillation as well as treatment of acute Venous Thromboembolism. A review of perioperative management and therapeutic options for bleeding patients being treated with TSOAs will be provided. Lastly, guidance will be offered on how to apply patient-specific factors to therapy in clinical practice.
