Title: Digital Health 101
The job of a pharmacist can seem overwhelming at times, from keeping up with the latest literature to managing your schedule. With the rise of technology, there are resources that can help with almost any area of professional practice. Additionally, there are many applications that patients can use, and that can be recommended, to help them achieve better health outcomes. We will provide an overview of the rise in health technology, practice management tools and their applications in practice, patient friendly health applications and their uses in patient education, and a very brief overview of regulations that apply to health technology. This session will be interactive and participants will be encouraged to bring their smart devices in order to actively participate.
