This event is open only to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students.

 

Join fellow pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students for dinner and continuing education program as the Lehigh Valley Pharmacists Association kicks off its revitalization!  Patricia Epple, Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association CEO, will present Pennsylvania Pharmacy Update 2016.
Attendees will also be voting on the LVPA bylaws, which can be found here.

 

The schedule of events is as followed:

6:30 pm - Registration

6:45 pm - Welcome & Announcements

7:00 pm - Dinner

              - Salad, a choice of: Chicken Marsala, Horseradish-dill encrusted salmon, ravioli mozzarella.  A cash bar is available.

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Outline recent regulation changes and any proposals under development and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania.

2. Identify recent legislative successes that impact pharmacists and pharmacy

3. Explain current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania.

Program Objectives for Pharmacy Technicians:

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Outline recent regulation changes and proposals under development and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania.

2. Identify current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania.

3. Discuss current registration/licensure status for pharmacy technicians in Pennsylvania.
