For more than 125 years, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association has been protecting the interests of pharmacy, pharmacists, and public health in Pennsylvania!

  PPA believes firmly in affordable health-care for all individuals and that in order for an affordable health system to exist, such a system must encourage and foster individual responsibility, be prevention-focused and consumer-responsive, and provide for enhanced quality of life for all.   Pennsylvania pharmacists provide such consultative care which benefit the health and welfare of people across the Commonwealth.

All Pennsylvania Pharmacists are licensed through the State Board of Pharmacy and must meet the standards outlined in the State regulations to be granted a license to practice.  The Board also requires biennial renewal stipulating 30 hours of continuing education so that pharmacists may remain current on new medication and drug therapies
