The location of
this year’s Annual Conference, Lancaster County,
offers a rich historical background of the Amish
culture known for its simple living, plain
dress, and resistance of modern conveniences.
While our conference locale is recognized for
its traditional ways, the profession of pharmacy
is anything but, as it has matured into a
clinical profession and transformed from a
product-oriented to a patient-oriented
profession. We will celebrate the continual
progression of pharmacy as it has moved from
plain to fancy.
