Point of Care Testing Program
On Thursday, October 1, PPA will be partnering with the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) to provide a Community Pharmacy-Based Point-of-Care Testing Certificate Program. This program nicely complements the Medication Management & Patient Care Training Program offered on Friday, October 2. Click here to learn more and register now. Registration includes breakfast and lunch.
Medication Management & Patient Care Training Program
On Friday, October 2, PPA will offer a live Medication Management & Patient Care Training Program for individuals who have already completed the online training program provided through the Comprehensive Medication Management Collaborative (CMMC). This live training is meant to serve as a follow-up to the online training, and completion of the online training is required to participate in the live training. CMMC is PPA's entry point gateway to an exciting new learning collaborative focusing on opportunities to provide direct patient care through medication management services. Learn more about CMMC and access the online training.
Last year's Residency Showcase had 35 programs represented and 150 students in attendance! All pharmacy students are invited to attend. Admission is included in the student conference registration packages. Students who do not plan to attend the conference can still attend the showcase, but there is a fee of $20 for non-members (free for PPA members!).
Student registration (only for those not attending the rest of the conference)
Achieving Independence Competition
Achieving Independence is student competition designed to foster the budding entrepreneurial spirit among pharmacy students to one day own their own pharmacy! The program was developed in 2009 as a way to encourage creativity and interest in pharmacy ownership.
Networking & Other Events
Over dinner on Friday, October 2, and lunch on Saturday, October 3, the exhibit hall will feature dozens of booths and allow conference attendees plenty of time to network and interact with industry professionals.
