PPA is the Voice for Pharmacists and Pharmacy
Students in Pennsylvania!
PPA provides a
unified, strong, and collective voice on state
legislative and regulatory issues, with active
lobbying efforts on behalf of pharmacy and
health-care, and keeps members informed and
involved in the political process. We also keep
you up to date on current laws, regulations, and
address practice issues. PPA helps make
pharmacy’s professional agenda known to
lawmakers and provides the power to achieve our
goals!
PPA serves student
members by explaining and promoting effective
lobbying techniques so members can contact their
local representative individually and encourage
pharmacy’s agenda. This opportunity presents
itself on PPA’s annual Legislative day, where
PPA members can network one on one with members
of the State House and Senate. Additionally, PPA
promotes student programs which encourage voter
registration, get out to vote campaigns, and
participation in state government.
Pharmacy Students
cannot afford to sit-back and expect employers
and schools to advocate the profession of
pharmacy for you…each and every Pharmacy Student
must step forward and speak out in concert with
pharmacists and other health care professionals
on key issues that affect the lives and well
being of patients and patient providers.

GRASP Program.
Every year, PPA
gives an award to an exceptional student from
the graduating class of each school of pharmacy.
Winners are selected by each school and awards
are presented at a school function for
graduates. Winners are also recognized at the
PPA Annual Conference.
