Ever wonder what the Board of Pharmacy does? Want to know why it takes so long to implement new regulations? Curious about revisions to current regulations? Participate in this webinar to learn about the structure and mission of the Pennsylvania State Board of pharmacy, discuss and explore new and revised regulations, and participate in Q&A with board member Terry Talbott.


Terry Talbott, RPh, PA State Board of Pharmacy Member

A graduate of Duquesne University, Terry Talbott has been a community pharmacist for over 30 years. She has been employed by CVS Caremark since 1989. She has been a pharmacist and pharmacy supervisor in Northeast PA for CVS and joined the Government Affairs team in March, 2014. In this role, she is the CVS liaison to 4  states and monitors legislative and regulatory issues. Terry is a past PPA president and currently serves as the Board Chair  of the PA State Board of Pharmacy. She is also a recipient of multiple awards, including the Wyeth Bowl of Hygeia.

Target Audience: All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

CE Credit: 1 Contact Hour (0.1 CEU)

Program Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to
1. Describe the structure and purpose of the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
2. Discuss the regulatory process in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3. Discuss recent and pending changes in pharmacy regulations in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
