Out with the old and in with the Vanc! Come learn about updated guidelines in treatment of Clostridium difficile and HAP/VAP! Infectious diseases are tricky to treat, but being behind on guidelines could be detrimental! Come be a life-long learner and update your knowledge on ID guidelines


Vicky Shah, PharmD, BCPS, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Wilkes University School of Pharmacy

Vicky Shah is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at Wilkes University, Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. Dr. Shah’s area of practice is Internal Medicine and he maintains a clinical practice at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He teaches primarily in the Infectious Disease module and teaches introductory lectures including Drug Interactions.



Target Audience: All pharmacists

CE Credit: 1 Contact Hour (0.1 CEU)

"At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to: •Describe first line therapies for the treatment of Clostridium difficile. Apply new pneumonia guidelines to your place of practice Evaluate antimicrobial stewardship at your institution"
