LCPA Meeting - Pharmacy Politics, PAC's and PULSE
Wednesday, April 17th

 

Schedule:

7:00 PM - Registration will start at this time

7:15 PM - Food will be served - pizza and soda will be available

7:30 PM - CE program will start with Angela Zaydon, PPA's Government Relations Manager.

*LCPA will have their general meeting after the conclusion of the CE.

 

 

 

 

                   

Angela Zaydon is PPA’s new Government Relations Manager.  She is responsible for developing state legislative priorities and strategies; encouraging membership grassroots activities; and lobbying on behalf of the association. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law and political science degree from Canisius College.

 

Program Objectives for Pharmacists:  At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

 

Identify recent legislative successes that impact pharmacists and pharmacy practice
Explain current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania in 2019
List ways that pharmacists can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates
Discuss current initiatives and activities underway to advance the profession in Pennsylvania

 

Program Objectives for Pharmacist Technicians: At the completion of this activity, the participant will be be able to:

 

Outline any recent regulation or legislative changes and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania
Identify current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania in 2019
List ways that pharmacy technicians can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates
