LVPA's Pennsylvania Pharmacy Update 2019
Wednesday, June 19th at 6 PM

 

Schedule:

6:00 PM - Registration and networking

6:30 PM - Meeting will start and food will be served

7:15 PM - CE will begin

 

This presentation highlights legislation, regulations, and activities that directly impact the profession of pharmacy in Pennsylvania.

 

Dinner will be a selection of pizzas and beer.There will be an open bar (beer) and also a cash bar available.

 

Deadline to register is Tuesday, June 18th

Program Objectives:

For Pharmacists:

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
List recent legislative successes that impact pharmacists and pharmacy practice
Explain current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania in 2019
Identify ways that pharmacists can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates
Discuss current initiatives and activities underway to advance the profession in Pennsylvania

For Pharmacist Technicians:

Outline any recent regulation or legislative changes and their impact on pharmacy in Pennsylvania
Identify current and upcoming pharmacy legislative and regulatory issues in Pennsylvania in 2019
Identify ways that pharmacy technicians can be involved and impact these issues as pharmacy advocates
Discuss current registration/licensure status for pharmacy technicians in Pennsylvania

 

Requirements to receive CE credit: Participants must be present for the entire program, sign the sign-in sheet, and complete an online evaluation survey within one week. PPA must have you CPE Monitor ID and birthday on file to issue credit.

 

Registration Fee:

There is no charge for PPA members.  Please be sure you are logged in when you register.

There is a $25 fee for non-members.

 

If you are a PPA member not residing in the Lehigh Valley, you are considered a non-member for this event.

 

This event is for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians members only.

 

The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
