Restore Our Building to Its Glory!

Help Preserve PPA's Rich History


PPA has proudly owned a stately building in downtown Harrisburg since 1948. It is recognized as a fine example of the art deco buildings that line Third Street and is prominently located almost directly across from our State Capitol Building.





Unfortunately over the years, time has taken its toll and despite some band aid type fixes, the infrastructure, facade, as well as the interior are desperately in need of a face-lift.  Over the last year, staff has endured no heat (in winter), no air (in summer), water leaks and damage, and a general old, dumpy feel.




Our Future

Additionally, our building can be so much more... a place to host students on rotation, a place to welcome legislators, and a showcase to our profession.  The PPA Board spent this past year considering many options including selling the building but have careful deliberation felt we need to preserve our pharmacy home and make it shine!   The plan for major renovations is going to cost approximately $600,000+ and we would like to raise funds of at least $140,000 (coinciding with our 14oth anniversary!) to cover a portion of this.


We are asking for members, friends, and supporters to dig deep and support our future!  Because the PPA Educational Foundation, as a 501(c)(3) organization is a charitable tax exempt organization, your contributions may be made and deducted as a charitable contribution on your income tax return.  (Please check with your tax consultant).


We are also accepting pledges over a three-year time period to help you maximize your support!

One-time or Monthly Online Contributions:  If you would like to submit your donation online,we are able to easily accommodate either single one-time donations or a series of monthly recurring contributions, by clicking here for the form. 


Please note monthly contributions may be for one year (12); two years (24), or three years (36).  Be sure to select the appropriate number of monthly payments.


Annual Contributions:  If you would like to make a contribution annually over two or three years, please click here for this form.

PPA Student Efforts

The student groups of PPA are banding together to work to raise $5,000 towards a named section of the building dedicated to students and student interns who pass through the office on rotation assignments.  Contacts students at their respective campus if you also would like to help their efforts.




Contributions are to be made payable to PPA Educational Foundation. The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Education Foundation has been granted 501 (c) (3) status by the IRS. Contributions may be deductible as charitable expenses for federal income tax purpose. Please consult your accountant or tax attorney.
