Confidentiality and Your Privacy

Your privacy and security are important to the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association. As such, it is our promise to our members never to divulge your home phone numbers, home or work fax numbers, or home or work email addresses, without your express permission. Furthermore, we also pledge and agree to keep confidential information we receive from members and non-members via this website. Please note that we also do not collect or store social security numbers.  This includes the items listed above, as well as items purchased, events for which you register, credit card information, and other items which would be considered personal property. Our website utilizes certified security on web pages with such data and we employ extra efforts to maintain this security. Credit card numbers once processed are not retained in the online database.

All privacy settings on this website and database may be individually further altered by you in your member profile.

We do reserve the right to provide, sell, or otherwise make available the preferred mailing address of our members that we obtain through our membership application for appropriate uses. PPA carefully considers any and all requests and only provides this information to individuals, companies, or organizations that we feel have appropriate business or information for our members. In the past, we have provided this list to groups such as the American Cancer Society- PA Chapter for a Quitline informational mailing, to Purdue for the mailing of a continuing education course and information on RxPatrol, and for various continuing education opportunities that we believe offer a benefit to our members. PPA members may also request, at any time, and we will immediately honor, to have their name removed from inclusion in any future provision of these lists.
