The Bucks County Pharmacists Association (BCPA) was formed in 1938. After decades as one of Pennsylvania's most active county organizations, activity faltered in recent years and the group was considered active in name only. The Montgomery County Pharmacists Association (MCPA) was established in 1955 and affiliated with PPA in 2011. In an effort to strengthen their presence in the region and encourage new and involved members to join, MCPA merged with BCPA to form BucksMont Pharmacists Association (BMPA) in 2013.
