Harrisburg, PA— The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network (PPCN) has announced the rollout of its Employer Flu Vaccine Clinic Program, giving local businesses across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania an easy way to keep their workforce healthy and productive this flu season.
The program allows companies to host onsite flu shot clinics staffed by trusted community pharmacists. Employers simply provide space, while pharmacy staff coordinates everything else. Experienced pharmacists can provide education and administer other needed vaccines as well.
“Flu season leads to thousands of missed workdays every year,” said Robert Maher, PPCN President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our onsite flu clinics make it convenient for employees to get vaccinated during the workday, helping businesses reduce sick days and show they care about employee wellness.”
How it works:
- Licensed pharmacists and healthcare staff come onsite to administer vaccines
- Flexible scheduling to fit employer needs
- All supplies and logistics provided by pharmacy staff
- Quick, efficient process with minimal workplace disruption
Local employers interested in hosting a clinic can schedule a date now via the PPCN website: https://www.papharmacistsnetwork.com/onsite-vaccine-clinics
