PPA Has 2 Great Ways to Study for the MPJE!

Practice Exam

The MPJE Pennsylvania Practice Test is made up of 120 questions randomly  selected from each of the Competency Statements covered on the MPJE. This Practice Test was created to be as similar to the MPJE as possible, mirroring the MPJE content areas: Pharmacy Practice (83%), Licensure, Registration, Certification, and Operational Requirements (15%), and General Regulatory Processes (2%). An explanation/rationale will be provided after each question, and test results by competency statement will be sent by email at the end of the exam. Click here to view the MPJE Competency Statements here.

Each purchase offers two attempts at the test over a 2 month time frame, with varying questions for each attempt. You will be able to stop the test and start where you left off at a later time, you will just need to follow instructions provided when doing so. You will not be able to start the test over without using up an attempt and you will be unable to go back to previous questions.

When purchasing the Practice Test you will be asked to provide your email address; you will receive the link and password to the exam within 1-2 business days of purchase via email to the email address you provide.

**Please do not purchase this exam if you can not allow for 1-2 business days to receive instructions.**

Law Review at Duquesne University

Each year, PPA presents the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE) Law Review course in Pittsburgh. This is an opportunity for pharmacy students to brush up on knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania pharmacy laws prior to sitting for exams. Courses are offered at a special discount to those students who are members of PPA.

More information coming fall 2019

The course syllabus includes: Controlled Substances and included schedules, inventory, refills, labeling, and other requirements; The Food Drug and Cosmetic Act and related amendments, the Poison Prevention, Prescription Drug Marketing, and Tamper Resistant Packaging Acts; Pennsylvania Drug labeling; OBRA 90; Pharmacy Act and Regulations; prescribing authorities of other practitioners, PA Department of Health, PA Hospital, and PA Long Term Care regulations; and much more.
