Recorded CE Webinars

To assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on-the-go, PPA has a diverse library of on-demand webinars available for viewing at your convenience. On-demand webinars are available at no charge to PPA members. Please note you will need to log in as a member after clicking the appropriate link for any of the below sessions.

 

Select recorded webinars are available for non-members to view and receive CE credit for a fee. The fee is $30 per hour of content ($15 if 30 minutes or less). After clicking the appropriate link under the session description, you will be prompted to pay this fee. Upon payment, you will receive an email with a downloadable attachment - this attachment will provide access to the recorded webinar.

Increasing Adult Immunizations

Pharmacists and pharmacies can have a significant impact on public health by serving as important catalysts in encouraging patients to comply with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for vaccines.

This series has been developed by PPA through grant support from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.

Each module is offered completely free of charge for CE credit for both members and non-members.

Pharmacy Technicians and MTM

PPA has developed a series of videos as a primer for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists on the appropriate utilization of pharmacy technicians in the efficient delivery of Medication Therapy Management and other medication management services.

This series has been developed by PPA through grant support from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.

Each module is offered completely free of charge for CE credit for both members and non-members.

 

Substance Use Disorder Certificate

 

This certificate program is an innovative program designed to assist pharmacists in identifying

substance use issues, conducting an assessment, and making referrals.  The program is comprised of online home study modules and in-person live components.  The online home study module and the one-day, live, in-person session totals 17.00 credit hours of educational content.  Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion of the program.  Completion includes Part 1 and Part II as well as the post assessment.

 

  • Self-study activities (10.00 hours)
  • Live Interactive Seminar (7.00 hours)
  • Post-Seminar Assessment

This program may be applied towards the two hours of CE on opioid, pain management and addiction.  Part I is the prerequisite for Part II and must be completed prior to attending Part II. Co-developed with Duquesne University.  Duquesne is the recipient of a grant from AmeriSource Bergen Foundation.
